The objective is to ensure that all allegations of misconduct are handled promptly, fairly, and effectively, in order to maintain a safe and respectful workplace.
Scope:
- Define Scope: including the issues to be investigated and the key questions to be addressed.
- Initial Assessment: Conduct a preliminary assessment to determine the severity of the complaint.
- Plan development: detailing the steps to be taken, timelines, and resources required.
- Gather Evidence: Collect relevant documents, emails, and other evidence related to the complaint.
- Interview Witnesses: Conduct confidential interviews with the complainant, the accused, and any witnesses.
- Document Findings: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all evidence and interviews conducted.
- Evaluate Evidence: Analyze the evidence collected to determine the facts of the case.
Outcomes:
- Summary of findings and conclusions
- Corrective actions plan
